Workplace Violence-Zero Tolerance

1). All threats regarded as real.

2). Report all potentially dangerous situations to Safety Officer.

3). Report all violent acts to 9-1-1 and Safety Officer.

4). Verbal abuse, intimidation harassing and stalking must be reported to Safety Officer.

Protocol

1). Know your escape route.

2). Alert staff before trouble starts.

3). Remain calm, leave area.

4). Utilize (Dr. Black) to alert staff (Dr. Black=TROUBLE).

5). Remove staff, patients and visitors from area.

6). Call 9-1-1.

7). Report to Safety Officer.
